Lettre d’appréciation d’un élève de l’auto-école Safa
Cher M. Rashid,
Je suis très reconnaissant d’avoir suivi mes cours de conduite chez SAFA. Votre excellent enseignement en matière de sécurité routière a permis à mon épouse et à moi-même d’éviter un accident potentiellement grave, alors que nous étions en Floride… en tant que piétons.
En raison d’un bus obstruant la visibilité, un conducteur imprudent ne nous a pas vus traverser le passage piéton, malgré la signalisation, et a tenté de s’engager à grande vitesse (environ 65 km/h) en nous dépassant par la voie opposée. Heureusement, j’ai été vigilant et me suis arrêté à temps avant de continuer, et mon épouse — grâce à ce que je lui avais appris sur la sécurité routière — a fait de même.
Votre travail chez SAFA est extrêmement précieux, bien au-delà de ce que l’on pourrait imaginer, et je suis très fier d’avoir été votre élève. Si ce conducteur avait bénéficié d’un encadrement aussi rigoureux que le vôtre, il n’aurait certainement pas conduit de manière aussi dangereuse.
Je vous souhaite une excellente santé ainsi qu’une longue et brillante carrière chez SAFA.

Safa Driving School is the best school in Montreal, Mr Rashid is an excellent instructor, he is so patient and he gave me so much confidence, after changing 2 other schools, I could get enough confidence with his great guidance and got my license in one shot. Safa driving school is the only school that provides the Mont-Tremblant package and this package helped me so much for driving in highway, I definitely recommend this excellent package for all students. Thanks again for all good guidances and helps. 🙏🙏

I! LOVE! SAFA!! DRIVING! SCHOOL!! theory classes were always clear and relevant and entertaining. they never cancelled an in car session, even during a snow storm, when every other school cancelled classes, Mr. Rashid helped me learn to drive in all kinds of weather conditions. you can tell they really care about their students and want them to succeed, and are endlessly patient and accommodating. I just completed my last class with SAFA this afternoon and have zero complaints about my experience. I went to safa after completing my first five classes at another driving school and had a much much better time at safa compared to the other driving school.

Safa driving school was a great investment in my opinion, not only did I learn to drive, but by learning and understanding how the road system works I also became a safer pedestrian. They have a very flexible schedule accommodating almost all days and times, and are priced quite competitively, if you have any problems or doubts then Mr. Rashid will make sure to clear them up! Finally, something to keep in mind is you must be proactive in learning and improving, Safa will give you a strong foundation but it is up to you to reflect and digest the information given, driving takes time, patience, and a lot of focus, even after the license!

I just wanted to give you an update on the driving exam today. I passed it successfully.
I wanted to thank you for all the coaching you gave me and you took presser on your shoulder to success in short period of time.
It was a good balance between theory and practice. I would definitely recommend Safa Driving School to any new drivers.
As for feedback from SAAQ Instructor after my Road Test:
- don’t go under speed limit
-- check blind spot sooner
All the rest was ok.
So, your student success rate is still intact.

Very good driving school. The owner and his staff are very pragmatic. They always thing about driver security and they can not give you attestation if you do not pass session car number 15. I fail 2 times and they keep until they know that i'm ready. I recommend this school for everyone who knows that driving is not a game.

I signed up my 16 year old son for driving school at Safa driving. It was close to home as well as being very fairly priced. I also felt very secure after talking with Mr. Rashid about his vision for the driving school. It has been 7 months since my son started the program. I have seen his driving skills improve continuously. The only drawback I see is that he now comments on all the driving mistakes that I do continuously. I was impressed when last Feb 13 2019, Philip had a practical driving class right in the middle of a severe snow storm. Even the SAAQ offices were closed but nothing stops Mr Mohammad Harunur Rashid from giving his students the trust they need to learn and perfect their skills in various difficult driving conditions but always in a controlled positive environment. I highly recommend Safa as the teacher Mr Rashid also owns the School. He therefore has vested interest as a teacher to do a good job and I can see he takes great pride in his work.

This is a great school if you approach driving responsibly. After only 4 practice sessions, I feel quite confident driving in residential areas, downtown (Ste-Catherine, René Levesque), around construction areas…
The instructor, Mr. Rashid, is not just along for the ride, but always maintains a positive and honest attitude pointing out room for improvement. It’s all about establishing good habits – scanning the environment ahead, reading the signs carefully (and not relying on habit), blind spots, mirrors, safety of yourself and other users, in-vehicle features…
Frankly, many of the regular drivers in Montreal could use a few classes in this school (looking at you, rue Rose-de-Lima!). It is a family-run business which offers a flexible schedule. Overall, warmly recommended.

Mr Rashid took me out for my second car session even when there were harsh winter conditions and all other driving schools were closed that day. SAFA teaches you everything you need to know and at a much better cost than most driving school's. The teacher Mr Rashid is a very organized, honest and helpful and has me driving confidently after a few car sessions even though I had never driven a car before coming to SAFA.

I warmly recommend Safa Driving School. I recently took some classes at Safa Driving School in order to exchange my European driving licence and I successfully passed the road test. Mr. Rashid is a very dedicated and thorough instructor who will help you identify the areas that need improvement and will patiently help you become a better driver. Safa Driving School make me Safe driving, Independent driving, and Eco-driving. I got more confidence after practicing allover downtown driving. Excellent customer service and great results!

Safa driving school makes you a safe driver no matter what the weather conditions are. I remember I was driving in snow storm, in heavily raining, Safa Driving was also teaching me drive from LaSalle to Downtown, Old Port, China town, St- Catherine Street, highway and we did not see any other driving school car other than Safa. Truly I enjoy lot, Mr. Rashid he took my nerves on his solder it’s an amazing driving school in Montreal. I finished my complete driving course (RSEP) within 8 months. Today I went to my Road test SAAQ and I got my Drivers Licences.

Anyone looking for a good English speaking driving class in central Montreal- Safa is the place to be!!! Mr. Rashid is dedicated, careful, knowledgeable, and truly cares about every student separately. The success rate of his class is a good reason alone to join Safa. In my few months driving so far I've increased my understanding of driving as well as my confidence. Mr. Rashid ensures you are ready for anything on the road, from small quiet lanes, to extremely busy intersections such as the Guy Concordia one, making sure you are absolutely ready for the practical test.
